How to Help your Brain out of a Funk or Bad Day

𝔻𝕠 π•ͺ𝕠𝕦 𝕖𝕧𝕖𝕣 π•˜π•–π•₯ 𝕀π•₯π•¦π•”π•œ π•šπ•Ÿ 𝕒 π•—π•¦π•Ÿπ•œ? 𝕆𝕣 𝕀π•₯π•¦π•”π•œ π•šπ•Ÿ 𝕒 𝕓𝕒𝕕 𝕕𝕒π•ͺ?... falling and feeling like, "snap out of it, pull your self together" ?

We all get to this place on occasion. We all have bad days, and life is never simple...

However! Life can be what you make it.πŸ‘ We can switch and let second nature control us and take over, letting our subconscious run our day and be overcome by a daze of mental fogπŸ˜πŸ˜‘πŸ˜ΆπŸ˜ͺπŸ˜”.

Or! We can chose to grab our thoughts and change them for better.‼️
Sometimes we do need a day of rest to recoup and regroup, but sometimes life is going whether you stop or not and so you better find a way to board the train and survive?
🚞 We've all been there.. you feel me?

We can go from mental dissaray 🀯 to atleast functional or even peaceful🏞 in a couple steps.

1) Distract yourself. Now before I go on, I am not a proponent for denial. Issues must be addressed and dealt with before they get to this state =πŸŒ‹.
BUT - moving on with life and continuing your daily tasks will help pull you from the fog. 🌫 Often if I catch my mind trying to dwell in a not so fun area. I acknowledge the issue needs to be met and delt with. But! I must live on and not be stopped by simply my thought life🧠.

So I grab a distractionβ˜€οΈ- I listen to something I enjoy, be it music or a good TV show while I clean, or do something I enjoy. If your working you could listen to a podcast or an audio book -provided it doesn't interfere with your kind of work.🎧 Perhaps you're a teacher and you remind yourself each one of you sweet students is a living beingπŸ™‹ with a life and their own hurts and desires. Speak πŸ’¬life into them and give them your best! You may be the only person who shows them love today.

2) Be Greatful ❀😁 Recount all the things you have been blessed with and realize so many people do not have what you have. There was once a point in my life when I didn't have powerπŸ’₯ or plumbed waterπŸ’¦ and so when I sit in a bath πŸ›I am so at peace and thankful for my simple bath tub. I think of the time I didnt have this simple leisure and that so many people in the world still don't. I'm reminded of even the simple joys of lifeβ˜€οΈ that many people don't have and that I should be grateful for. I think of my husband who loves me through thick and thin (even literally as im pregnant 🀰 right now). I think of the sunshine in my window and the cup of coffee in my hand. The warm blanket at night, and a place I can sleep without fear. I can smile at the person walking down the shopping isle as they too have bad days and good day just like me. I could go on and on but ill stop here for now ❀ love you all!
